Cut and paste ...

... from Will's long and pointless story about some shirt. This man does have a way with words.

"There's another fact you should know at this point, which is that nerds are not, inherently, asexual. We don't have much success with women, but that doesn't mean we are immune to their charms. Quite the opposite. We fall under such a spell that we are unable to function, and this renders us so unattractive that it creates a self-perpetuating cycle of desperate singlehood."

people, people. relax. it was meant to be a humour piece, and i, in my humble opinion, thought it was funny.

@silverine
our culture of tolerance??! i havent seen any.

@skarr
and both silverine and skarr if you'd read the complete article again, it talks about the authors akwardness with women. he doesnt mean to typecast or judge any.and he reiterates in his comments, it was humour piece.
and i am sorry if you felt that his writing was labored, i did not. and i dont think there was anything particular in it to offend either.
and the post never sid anything about kids.

@skarr

@jake
indians are like everybody else. very tolerant with people they know. and indians are generally more tolerant that "americans". they just dont use big words to explain their way of life.

;) what is a humour piece?

NOTICE how everyone ignored the fact that he shops at THOMAS PINK? way cool.

Hey jake, by culture of tolerance I mean, we do not poke fun of people if they'r too intelligent or not so bright.
Yes it is a humorous piece now that I have read it again without taking off on a tangent on seeing the word 'nerd' !!!

Apologies!!! ;)
